The Challenge
Goldman Sachs' Global Banking & Markets division needs a strategic marketing leader to drive integrated campaigns across their two market-leading franchises. You'll own end-to-end strategy and execution for awareness, lead generation, and thought leadership in the world's most complex financial deals.
Your Mission
Map GBM business priorities and develop a 6-month integrated marketing roadmap with clear campaign objectives and success metrics
Establish stakeholder relationships across Investment Banking, FICC, and Equities teams to understand audience segments and positioning gaps
Launch 2-3 priority awareness/demand-gen campaigns leveraging paid media, content, and digital channels
Build the measurement framework and analytics dashboard to track campaign performance against business KPIs
Execute full-funnel campaign portfolio generating measurable pipeline contribution and brand lift across GBM segments
Establish GBM as thought leader through proprietary research, content series, and industry events targeting C-suite and institutional buyers
Develop playbooks for core campaign types (M&A positioning, equities insights, FICC solutions) that scale across regions
Present quarterly business reviews showing marketing contribution to GBM revenue targets and win rates

Measure marketing-influenced deals and revenue contribution across Investment Banking and trading businesses.
Brand awareness lift
Track unaided and aided awareness among target C-suite and institutional investor segments quarter-over-quarter.
Content engagement
Monitor engagement rates, downloads, and time-on-page for research, insights, and thought leadership content.
Paid media ROI
Measure cost-per-lead and cost-per-qualified-lead across display, digital, and sponsorship campaigns.
Campaign launch velocity
Track time from brief to launch and number of integrated campaigns executed per quarter.

Is This Role For You?
- You've built integrated B2B marketing programs targeting C-suite and institutional decision-makers (financial services, professional services, or enterprise tech experience translates well)
- You can translate complex business value propositions into compelling positioning, messaging, and creative across multiple channels
- You've managed cross-functional campaigns from strategy through execution, coordinating internal teams and external agencies
- You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, building stakeholder buy-in, and proving marketing impact through data and attribution
- You want to work at scale in a prestigious global brand with access to senior leadership and transformational client engagements
- You prefer creative work over strategy and business impact—this role is 70% strategy/leadership, 30% hands-on creative
- You need remote flexibility or work-from-home options—this is on-site in NYC with regular stakeholder engagement required
- You lack experience in B2B marketing or understanding of financial services/institutional buyer psychology—the learning curve will be steep

Conversation with CMO or senior marketing leadership to discuss vision, team building, and fit with firm culture.
