The Challenge

France Travail's biocides specialist client needs a marketing lead to build brand visibility from the ground up. You'll own their entire digital presence—from social to e-commerce—and drive commercial performance in a niche industrial market.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current digital footprint and define 12-month marketing/comms strategy aligned with sales pipeline

Launch or overhaul social media presence (LinkedIn primary) with consistent posting calendar and engagement targets

3

Plan and execute first major trade show or industry event with measurable lead generation metrics

4

Establish vendor relationships (PR, design, analytics tools) and lock down marketing budget allocation

By 6 Months
1

Drive measurable growth in website traffic and e-commerce conversion rate month-over-month

2

Build and nurture email/marketing automation workflows for lead scoring and nurturing

3

Establish internal reporting dashboard tracking ROI by channel (social, events, partnerships)

4

Execute 2-3 integrated campaigns (content + events + PR) that directly tie to sales pipeline growth

Website Traffic & Conversion Rate

Monthly organic and paid traffic growth; e-commerce conversion % relative to baseline.

Social Media Engagement Rate

Follower growth, engagement rate, and click-through to website by platform.

Lead Generation by Channel

Qualified leads from events, content, email, and paid campaigns; cost per lead by source.

Marketing Budget ROI

Revenue attributed to marketing initiatives vs. total spend; payback period by campaign.

Brand Awareness Metrics

Share of voice in industry press, event attendance growth, and customer feedback sentiment.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've owned digital marketing strategy at a mid-market B2B or industrial company (3+ years proven)
  • You're comfortable with e-commerce, social selling, and event marketing as equal pillars
  • You speak professional English fluently and can navigate vendor/partner communication
  • You want autonomy to build a brand from the ground up without layers of bureaucracy
  • France-based or willing to relocate to Arnas (Lyon region) on a permanent, on-site basis
Won't Work If
  • You need remote-first flexibility—this is primarily on-site with minimal WFH
  • You're specialized in B2C, fashion, or consumer brands and lack B2B industrial experience
  • You require equity, stock options, or significant variable pay (straight salary role)
  • You can't communicate fluently in professional English or French
