Position Overview
The Assistant Channel Marketing Manager / Channel Marketing Manager owns the .com and eCommerce channel marketing strategy and execution for ABG's brick-and-mortar retail customers, Lowe's, Menards, and MRO/RR. As these retailers increasingly compete online, this role ensures ABG's brands win on the digital shelf and through the online extension of each customer's business, complementing the in-store portfolio and merchandising strategy.
Reporting to the Retail Channel Marketing Manager, this role translates account and portfolio strategy into online execution, digital shelf optimization, content quality, dot-com assortment support, retail media, and promotional activation on Lowes.com, Menards.com, and the MRO/RR digital properties. It is a hands-on, execution-focused role that partners closely with Sales, Product Content Marketing (PCM), and the broader channel marketing team. The role is scoped at either the Assistant Channel Marketing Manager or Channel Marketing Manager level depending on the candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities
.com / eCommerce Channel Marketing Strategy & Execution
Own the online channel marketing strategy and execution for Lowe's, Menards, and MRO/RR digital properties.
Ensure the .com assortment, content, and merchandising align with and extend the in-store portfolio strategy.
Develop and execute online go-to-market plans for new item launches, resets, and promotional events.
Serve as the online channel marketing point of contact in support of the Channel Marketing Manager and Sales team.
Digital Shelf & Content
Optimize digital shelf presence, titles, imagery, bullets, enhanced/A+ content, ratings and reviews, and search visibility, across each customer's site.
Partner with Product Content Marketing (PCM) to produce and deploy accurate, high-converting content.
Monitor content health, share-of-search, buy-box, and conversion, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure online assortment and content support line-review and assortment objectives.
Retail Media & Promotional Activation
Assist with planning and executing retail media and onsite promotional programs across Lowe's, Menards, and MRO/RR digital channels.
Support seasonal and event-based promotional calendars, coordinating online activation with broader account plans.
Assist with tracking campaign performance and optimize toward ROAS and revenue objectives.
Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain reporting on .com sales, digital shelf health, retail media, and promotional performance.
Translate online performance data into actionable recommendations for the Channel Marketing Manager and Sales.
Contribute online insights to product line reviews and business reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales to align online execution with account strategy and negotiations.
Work with Product Content Marketing (PCM) to align content roadmaps with digital shelf priorities.
Coordinate with product and supply chain teams to align online item setup, availability, and promotional readiness.
Collaborate with the broader channel marketing team to share best practices and maintain consistency across accounts.
Qualifications
Required
3-6+ years in eCommerce marketing, channel marketing, digital merchandising, or a related function.
Direct experience with .com / eCommerce channel execution, digital shelf, content, and online merchandising.
Working knowledge of retail media and promotional activation.
Strong analytical skills and comfort translating data into recommendations.
Ability to operate in a matrixed, cross-functional environment and partner closely with sales.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred
Experience with Lowe's, Menards, or MRO/RR digital properties (or comparable big-box .com channels).
Experience in home improvement, bath, kitchen, decor, or adjacent categories.
Hands-on digital shelf tools and retail media platform experience.
Experience supporting line reviews or assortment resets.
Skills & Competencies

Strong execution, project management, and organizational skills.
Analytical, data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bias for hands-on execution and follow-through.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 15% travel for customer meetings and internal meetings.

.com sales growth vs. plan for Lowe's, Menards, and MRO/RR.
Digital shelf performance, content health, share-of-search, and conversion.
Retail media and online promotional performance vs. ROAS and revenue targets.
Alignment of online execution with in-store portfolio and line-review strategy.
Strength of partnership with the Portfolio Manager, Sales, and PCM.
