Commission-Only Business Development Partner for Scientific Consulting & Apps Company: Del Re Data & Statistical Consulting
Location: Remote
Role Type: 100% Commission/Revenue Share
The Opportunity
I am an independent PhD & Principal Statistician (former Stanford Postdoc) with a deep academic and technical background (70+ peer-reviewed publications, 12,000+ citations). I specialize in bridging the gap between rigorous academic science and clinical utility.
My technical expertise covers a wide range
Advanced statistical modeling (covering a broad spectrum of methodologies e.g., predictive analytics, complex study design, mixed-effects models, and multilevel meta-analysis). Automated, reproducible data pipelines and reporting using R and Quarto. Building interactive statistical applications, clinical dashboards, and custom web applications. Developing custom predictive engines for real-world evidence (RWE).
I have already built the tools, the intellectual property, and a comprehensive portfolio of applications (e.g., predictive clinical dashboards and longitudinal practice trackers).
My problem is simple: I am a scientist and a builder, not a salesperson. I need a partner to sell my high-end statistical consulting expertise and take these fully developed assets to market.
The Targets You will have a complete portfolio to pitch across multiple domains:
Academic PIs: Pitching automated Quarto reporting pipelines and advanced statistical consulting (e.g., analytic plan development, grant support, complex data analysis, and/or manuscript rescue) to researchers with active grant funding. Clinical Organizations & Health-Tech: Selling predictive RWE dashboards and longitudinal outcome modeling to digital health startups, cannabis/wellness companies, or clinics that need to prove their efficacy. Enterprise App Sales: Pitching the PQM App-a mindfulness tracking platform with a robust backend-to clinical researchers, university integrative medicine programs, and MBSR/MBCT clinics for data collection.
Who You Are
You understand how to communicate with academic researchers, clinical directors, and health-tech founders. You know how to find funded grants (e.g., NIH RePORTER), navigate LinkedIn, and write targeted outreach that gets responses. You handle the lead generation and initial discovery; I step in to discuss the methodology and build the product.
Compensation Structure Please read carefully: This is a 100% commission and revenue-share role. I cannot offer a base salary, hourly rate, or a monthly retainer.
If you bring in a fixed-bid $30,000 dashboard build or consulting contract, you take a straight 20% cut ($6,000) of the project. If the client engages me for ongoing hourly consulting, you receive a 20% commission on all billed hours for the first 12 months of the client engagement. For any bundled enterprise licenses sold for the PQM App (e.g., selling a 50-user clinic license), you receive a 20% commission on the contract. This role is strictly for someone willing to build a pipeline for uncapped upside.
How to Apply (READ CAREFULLY)
Do not send a generic resume or cover letter. If you do, your application will be instantly rejected.
To apply, you must include a short (3 to 4 sentence) cold email in your application message. Pretend you are sending this email to the founder of a digital health startup. Pitch a "predictive analytics dashboard that proves their app's clinical validity." Please include your subject line.

About Growth Marketing roles
Growth marketers drive user acquisition, activation, and retention through data-driven experimentation. They sit at the intersection of product, data, and marketing — running A/B tests, building funnels, and scaling what works.
