The Challenge
Daydream is redefining fashion discovery with a chat-based shopping agent backed by top-tier VCs (Google Ventures, Index, Forerunner). You'll build the growth experimentation engine that turns curiosity into adoption—owning everything from paid social creative to product activation.
Your Mission
Establish baseline metrics across acquisition channels (paid social, search, emerging platforms) and document current conversion funnel from ad to activation
Design and launch 3-5 rapid experimentation sprints testing creative variations, messaging angles, and audience segments to identify initial winning patterns
Build or refine the creative testing infrastructure: define workflows for rapid creative generation (leveraging AI tools), testing methodology, and feedback loops with internal/agency teams
Partner with product to map the full funnel and identify 2-3 quick wins in landing page or onboarding that improve activation rates by 10%+
Scale proven creative/messaging winners across paid social and search while maintaining LTV:CAC ratio >3:1; target 30%+ QoQ user acquisition growth
Operationalize systematic testing cadence: run 15+ experiments per month with documented learnings and clear handoffs to product for high-impact iterations
Develop AI-powered creative testing framework that reduces time-to-test by 50% and generates 50+ creative variations monthly for rapid learning cycles
Present growth strategy roadmap identifying 2-3 new acquisition channels or messaging repositioning opportunities with projected impact on unit economics
KPIs You'll Own
CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
Track blended CAC across all channels and trend toward profitability; benchmark against LTV targets.
Conversion Rate: Ad Click → Sign-up
Monitor creative and messaging impact on conversion; test incrementally to improve baseline.
Activation Rate (Day 1 / Day 7 / Day 30)
Measure product adoption post-signup; tie back to ad/landing page/onboarding changes.
Creative Test Velocity
Number of creative variations tested per month and time-to-insight on winners.
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Blended ROAS across paid social, search, and emerging platforms; minimum 2:1 target.
Payback Period
Days to recover CAC through revenue or retained user value; optimize toward <90 days.
