The Challenge
Connect Tech+Talent needs a marketing director who can build scalable demand generation engines and tie marketing directly to pipeline revenue. You'll own the full funnel-from ABM campaigns to field marketing-while keeping sales aligned and results measurable.
Your Mission
Audit current demand gen stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, paid channels) and identify quick wins to improve MQL-to-SQL conversion
Establish baseline KPIs for lead volume, CPL, CAC, and pipeline contribution across all channels
Map and plan 2-3 major events/webinars with clear pre/post engagement playbooks
Align with sales on ICP definition, lead scoring criteria, and sales enablement content gaps
Launch optimized multi-channel demand program (paid, email, ABM, content syndication) hitting pipeline targets
Implement lead scoring and lifecycle nurturing programs reducing MQL-to-SQL friction by 20%+
Execute 4+ major events/field programs with documented ROI and pipeline attribution
Build repeatable monthly performance dashboards showing marketing contribution to sales targets

Is This Role For You?
- You've built demand gen programs from scratch and can prove pipeline impact with hard numbers
- You thrive on ABM, events, and multi-channel campaigns-not just brand or content marketing
- You're equally comfortable with data, dashboards, and Salesforce as you are with storytelling and sales leadership
- You want full ownership of a marketing function with direct influence on revenue and no corporate politics
- You need remote/hybrid flexibility-this is on-site only in NY or VA
- You're averse to hands-on execution; this director role expects strategic AND tactical work
- You lack proven B2B SaaS demand gen experience with measurable pipeline attribution
