The Challenge
Cogna is Brazil's largest education group, and they need a Senior Growth Analyst to scale their student acquisition and retention engines. You'll own the full funnel—from market analysis to conversion optimization—across a diversified portfolio of educational brands.
Your Mission
Map current growth funnel across all Cogna properties; identify top 3 conversion bottlenecks and propose data-driven fixes
Build automated dashboards in Google Analytics 4 tracking user behavior, cohort performance, and KPIs across acquisition channels
Design and execute first A/B test on homepage/landing pages targeting 15%+ lift in conversion rate
Establish weekly growth review cadence with marketing and product teams using shared metrics and SQL queries
Deliver 25%+ improvement in primary funnel conversion metric through systematic testing and optimization
Implement marketing automation workflows reducing manual reporting by 60% and enabling real-time decisioning
Conduct competitive analysis across 5+ education platforms; translate insights into 3+ actionable growth initiatives
Scale winning acquisition channels while cutting CAC by 20%; present business case for budget reallocation to leadership

Track % of traffic converting to paid signup/enrollment across organic, paid, direct, and referral channels.
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Cost per enrolled student by channel; benchmark against LTV to ensure profitable unit economics.
Funnel Drop-off Rate
% of users exiting at each stage (awareness → consideration → signup); identify highest-impact optimization targets.
Cohort Retention & LTV
Month-over-month and year-over-year retention of student cohorts; model lifetime value to inform CAC caps.
Product Usage & Engagement
Daily/monthly active users, session frequency, time-on-platform; early signal of student success and churn risk.
