Establish governance protocols for content, access controls, and compliance workflows across all web properties

3

Launch 2-3 high-impact A/B tests on conversion paths in partnership with analytics lead

4

Document vendor SLAs, contracts, and performance baselines for all web and digital marketing tools

By 6 Months
1

Execute one major site redesign or strategic rollout across multi-site architecture with measurable lift in conversion or engagement

2

Build scalable testing roadmap with 10+ active experiments running across disease awareness and corporate sites

3

Reduce page load times by 20%+ and achieve 95+ Lighthouse scores across all properties

4

Implement full ADA/WCAG, GDPR/CCPA, and MLR compliance audit with zero critical gaps

Target 99.9% uptime; zero unplanned downtime events per quarter.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed complex, multi-site web infrastructure at scale-especially in regulated industries (pharma, finance, healthcare)
  • You're equally comfortable with strategy (roadmapping, vendor management, compliance) and execution (A/B testing, optimization, performance monitoring)
  • You think like a product manager: data-driven decisions, user-first design, rapid iteration on high-impact initiatives
  • You thrive in matrixed environments partnering with analytics, marketing, legal, IT, and external agencies without direct authority
  • You're energized by the mission: building digital experiences that help get life-saving medicines to patients faster
Won't Work If
  • You need pure remote flexibility-this role requires consistent in-office presence in SF and Palo Alto
  • You prefer hands-off leadership or delegating all execution; you'll need to roll up your sleeves on testing, platform optimization, and vendor management
  • Biotech regulatory/compliance work feels like overhead rather than a core part of the challenge
  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity in org structure; this is a matrixed role requiring influence without full control

Interview Process

1

Recruiter screen

30 min conversation on background, web tech stack experience, and familiarity with biotech/regulated industries

2

Hiring manager deep dive

60 min with CMO or VP Marketing: your approach to multi-site roadmapping, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration

3

Case study / portfolio review

Walk through 1-2 past web projects: architecture decisions, testing roadmap, optimization results, compliance work

4

Cross-functional panel

30-45 min with analytics lead, digital marketing team, and IT/ops to assess partnership fit and technical depth

5

Exec conversation

15-20 min with CMO or CTO on vision alignment and strategic priorities
