Launch redesigned email lifecycle program with 3+ new segments, achieving 15%+ lift in CTR and 20%+ growth in owned audience

2

Scale influencer/partnership program to 8-12 active relationships with documented ROI, driving measurable traffic and conversion uplift

3

Own and execute 4+ major product launches or promotional campaigns on-time and on-brand, with 100% adherence to brand voice guidelines

4

Reduce marketing campaign planning cycle time by 30% through standardized briefs and process, freeing director bandwidth for strategy work

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed email programs at scale and can articulate the difference between promotional blasts and lifecycle strategy
  • You've built or scaled influencer/partnership programs with clear ROI tracking and partner management discipline
  • You thrive translating ambiguous strategy into clear execution plans and love being a working manager (hands-on + leadership)
  • You're genuinely interested in automotive/performance products or passionate about serving niche communities authentically
  • You can own the entire funnel: awareness through purchase, with ability to coordinate across multiple functions
Won't Work If
  • You need heavy process/bureaucracy or prefer coordinator roles over direct execution and decision-making
  • Your email experience is purely platform-tactical-you need strategic thinking about lifecycle and segmentation
  • You expect significant paid media budget or brand awareness focus (this is direct-response/performance oriented)
  • You're uncomfortable with remote work or need constant CMO/director oversight to stay on track

Interview Process

1

Initial screening

Alignment on growth marketing philosophy, remote work fit, and interest in automotive/community-driven brands

2

Portfolio/case study review

Deep dive on email program you've managed (segmentation, engagement lifts, strategy) and influencer/partnership scaling examples

3

Strategy exercise

Given current state of Apex's email/partnership programs, propose 90-day plan to improve performance and structure

4

Team interviews

Conversations with CMO, eCommerce/Sales leadership, and Creative team to assess collaboration fit and execution style
