The Challenge

Amazon Canada is hunting for a Marketing Manager to own the entire merchandising and traffic engine for fashion, electronics, pets, and new launches. You'll blend creative campaign execution with hard data analysis to drive shopping experiences for millions of Canadian customers.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current merchandising and email performance across 4+ key categories; identify quick wins and low-hanging fruit for optimization

Build cross-functional playbook for campaign planning and execution with stakeholder alignment across marketing and business teams

Launch 2-3 A/B tests on email segmentation and on-site merchandising to establish baseline conversion metrics

4

Master Amazon's internal tools, data systems, and approval workflows; get fluent in Excel/Tableau dashboards

By 6 Months
1

Deliver 15-20% lift in on-site traffic and email engagement through optimized seasonality and content relevance testing

Execute and scale 3-4 cross-site sales events and new product launches with full P&L ownership and post-mortem analysis

Implement AI-assisted content creation and workflow optimization; document efficiency gains and ROI

Present quarterly performance reviews with actionable insights on customer experience improvements backed by data

Measure test winner lift on audience segmentation, content variations, and targeting changes.

Cross-Functional Program Delivery

Track on-time and on-budget execution of campaigns, sales events, and vendor collaborations.

Analyze content relevance, selection, and traffic pattern improvements against seasonal demand forecasts.
