Is This Role For You?
- You have 5-8+ years in medical device product management or growth marketing with hands-on experience owning product P&L
- You speak fluently about cloud architecture, AI/ML product integration, and data infrastructure (not just theoretical knowledge)
- You're comfortable operating in regulated, high-stakes healthcare environments and translating clinical evidence into commercial strategy
- You have proven cross-functional leadership chops-you can influence R&D, sales, and C-suite without formal authority over all of them
- You're energized by owning the full lifecycle: strategy through commercialization, not just one phase
- You need remote flexibility or hybrid work; this is hard on-site in Pleasanton, CA
- You're coming from pure SaaS/B2C and uncomfortable with healthcare regulatory, clinical evidence, and 12-24 month product cycles
- You want a narrow IC role; this requires hands-on leadership across product, commercial, and digital teams simultaneously
- You're allergic to matrix organizations or cross-functional politics; Abbott's size and structure demand strong stakeholder management
