*About: *
At Abbotsford Road Coffee, we're building more than a specialty coffee company-we're helping businesses create exceptional coffee experiences that keep customers coming back.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially driven leader who can unlock additional revenue across our existing customer base while ensuring every new customer launches successfully. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of sales, customer success, operations, and business development.
If you enjoy building relationships, solving customer problems, identifying growth opportunities, and turning strategy into measurable revenue, we'd love to meet you.
The Opportunity:
The Head of Growth & Customer Development will own the strategy and execution for expanding revenue within existing accounts while supporting the successful onboarding of new customers.
You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Leadership to identify opportunities that increase customer lifetime value, improve retention, and accelerate revenue growth.
This role combines account growth, customer success, project management, and business development. You'll be responsible for helping customers get more value from our products and services while ensuring opportunities move seamlessly from conversation to implementation.
This position has direct visibility with company leadership and plays a critical role in shaping the next phase of Abbotsford Road Coffee's growth.
What You'll Own:
Drive Growth Across Existing Customers
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue across existing customer accounts.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer spend through additional products, equipment, training, service offerings, and coffee programs.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to understand evolving needs and identify new growth opportunities.

Lead New Customer Launches
- Partner with the Sales team to ensure every new customer location launches successfully.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including equipment installation, product selection, training, scheduling, and implementation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving on schedule.
- Ensure customers transition smoothly into long-term account management.
Convert New Business Opportunities
- Manage and close inbound sales opportunities from inquiry through implementation.
- Develop proposals, pricing recommendations, and customer solutions.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and proactive communication.
- Build trusted customer relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.
Build Scalable Growth Programs
- Analyze customer purchasing behavior and identify trends that drive account expansion.
- Develop initiatives that improve customer retention, increase customer lifetime value, and generate recurring revenue.
- Create repeatable processes for managing customer growth opportunities and inbound inquiries.
- Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and new market opportunities.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, using data to inform future growth strategies.
What Success Looks Like:
During your first 12 months, you'll:
- Increase revenue generated from existing customers through strategic account expansion.
- Improve customer retention and engagement across the portfolio.
- Successfully launch new customer locations with a consistent onboarding experience.
- Build a scalable process for managing inbound opportunities.
- Establish trusted relationships across our customer base.
- Become a key strategic partner to Sales, Operations, and Leadership.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, business development, sales, or growth-focused roles.

- Demonstrated success growing revenue within existing customer accounts.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into measurable business results.

- Highly organized with excellent project management capabilities.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience using CRM platforms and managing customer pipelines.
- Experience in coffee, foodservice, hospitality, beverage, or equipment industries is a plus-but not required.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building processes as the business scales.
Why Join Abbotsford Road Coffee?
- Play a key role in shaping the growth of a rapidly expanding specialty coffee company.
- Work directly with company leadership and influence strategic decisions.
- Build new programs and processes rather than simply maintaining existing ones.
