The Challenge
VML Health, part of WPP's global network, is building sophisticated customer journeys across Salesforce, Oracle, and Adobe for blue-chip healthcare brands. You'll own the technical backbone of email, SMS, and push campaigns that drive real growth for clients like AstraZeneca and Nestlé.
Your Mission
Deliver 3-5 production-ready HTML/SQL email campaigns across Salesforce/Oracle/Adobe platforms with zero compliance issues
Document technical architecture for 2+ customer journey projects and establish coding standards for the team
Audit existing marketing cloud configurations and identify optimization opportunities worth 10%+ efficiency gains
Mentor 1-2 junior team members on PL/SQL best practices and marketing cloud platform operations
Own end-to-end delivery of 8+ complex customer lifecycle programs across multiple channels (email, SMS, app push, digital media)
Reduce campaign deployment time by 20% through automation scripting and template optimization
Build reusable component library (HTML snippets, SQL queries, JavaScript modules) for team-wide use
Present quarterly optimization review to clients showing lift metrics across journeys you've built

Is This Role For You?
- You've shipped 3+ years of production HTML/CSS/JavaScript for email and digital channels-you know email clients and responsive design cold
- You're fluent in SQL and comfortable writing queries for audience segmentation and journey logic across marketing platforms
- You've built or maintained marketing journeys in Salesforce, Oracle, or Adobe and understand their data models deeply
- You document your work obsessively and can translate technical architecture to both developers and non-technical stakeholders
- You thrive on ownership: you want to own a project from brief to optimization, not just code-and-hand-off
- You're purely a frontend designer or marketer-this role demands strong backend SQL and platform configuration chops
- You've never shipped production HTML email campaigns or worked with marketing cloud platforms; learning curve is steep
- You need full remote or are unwilling to be on-site 4 days/week in São Paulo-this is a hard on-site role
