The Challenge
Catena Solutions is bringing 30+ years of growth consulting expertise to modern marketing stacks. You'll architect the email foundation that scales their client engagements-building reusable templates, optimizing workflows, and establishing tracking standards that drive measurable pipeline impact.
Your Mission
Design and deploy 8-12 modular, mobile-responsive email templates with standardized naming conventions and documentation
Implement UTM parameter standards and tracking infrastructure across all campaigns to enable attribution
Configure 5+ automated workflows with proper list segmentation, personalization rules, and QA checkpoints
Audit existing campaigns and document optimization opportunities for conversion rate improvement
Establish email performance baseline metrics (open rate, click rate, conversion rate) and create monitoring dashboard
Reduce campaign deployment time by 40% through template reusability and workflow standardization
Train internal team on template usage, best practices, and workflow logic for self-service campaign builds
Deliver measurable lift in email engagement metrics through A/B testing of templates and copy personalization

Track baseline and improvement of open rates across template variations and send times.

Measure engagement depth and template/CTA effectiveness.

Is This Role For You?
- You have 4-5+ years building email campaigns and templates in HubSpot with strong HTML/CSS chops
- You obsess over email performance metrics and understand UTM tracking, list segmentation, and personalization
- You thrive in execution-focused sprints and can build reusable systems that scale across campaigns
- You're detail-oriented on QA and documentation-your templates outlive you because they're self-explanatory
- You can hit the ground running on a 90-day contract with zero ramp time
- You need salary north of $75K/hr or long-term employment stability-this is a fixed 3-month contract at $35/hr
- You're not comfortable working Eastern Time Zone hours or collaborating async in a distributed team
- You lack hands-on HubSpot email experience or prefer strategy over template-building execution
