The Challenge
Amazon's Lifecycle team owns customer engagement across owned channels—homepage, email, landing pages. You'll design and scale experimentation programs that drive repeat purchases and deepen customer relationships at one of the world's largest retailers.
Your Mission
Design and launch 3-4 A/B tests on core lifecycle channels (email, homepage, cross-site) to establish baseline performance metrics and test framework
Develop customer segmentation model for retargeting high-value segments with personalized offers and messaging
Partner with cross-functional teams to document testing methodology and establish repeatable execution playbook
Report initial learnings to leadership on campaign performance, adoption metrics, and key insights from early experiments
Scale 2-3 winning lifecycle campaigns across channels, targeting repeat purchase lift and customer lifetime value growth
Build predictive segmentation models using historical data to identify and target customers most likely to adopt new shopping behaviors
Establish quarterly optimization rhythm—iterate on messaging, timing, and creative based on experimental results
Create best practices documentation and training materials that enable partner teams to execute lifecycle campaigns independently
KPIs You'll Own
Repeat Purchase Rate
Percentage of customers who make a second purchase within 90 days of lifecycle campaign exposure.
Campaign Engagement Rate
Click-through and conversion rates across email, homepage, and cross-site placements.
Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Lift
Incremental revenue per customer attributed to lifecycle engagement programs vs. control group.
Test Velocity
Number of experiments launched and completed per quarter to drive rapid learning and optimization.
Segmentation Performance
Response rates and conversion lift for targeted customer segments vs. broad audience sends.

Is This Role For You?
- You've managed lifecycle or retention marketing campaigns end-to-end and can speak to uplift metrics, not just activities
- You're fluent in English and Spanish and want to drive impact in a Mexico City-based role
- You thrive with data—Excel-level manipulation, experimentation design, and translating results into narrative for leadership
- You're comfortable in ambiguity, test-and-learn culture, and can balance speed with rigor in campaign execution
- You've partnered successfully across functions (product, analytics, creative) to iterate on programs quickly
- You need remote flexibility—this is on-site in Mexico City only
- You're stronger in creative/brand marketing than in data, segmentation, and analytical decision-making
- You don't have 5+ years of professional marketing experience or aren't fluent in both English and Spanish
