The Challenge

High-growth ad measurement platform trusted by global brands needs a revenue-focused VP Marketing to lead category positioning and scale the GTM engine. You'll partner directly with the CEO to blend storytelling with performance accountability while navigating a complex enterprise adtech ecosystem.

Your Mission

First 3 Months

Audit current marketing stack, positioning, and messaging-deliver revised brand narrative and GTM framework aligned with product differentiation

Establish cross-functional metrics dashboard with Sales, Product, and CS to baseline pipeline velocity, CAC, and net revenue retention

Build out integrated demand gen roadmap (content, campaigns, events) with Q2-Q3 launch calendar tied to pipeline targets

Assess marketing team structure and skills gaps; create hiring plan for critical demand gen, product marketing, and ops roles

By 6 Months

Drive measurable pipeline lift-target 30-40% increase in qualified opportunities through optimized full-funnel programs

Launch AI-enabled marketing automation stack; implement predictive targeting and personalization across demand channels

Establish thought leadership program positioning company as category authority on ad measurement and AI-driven effectiveness

Scale marketing team to 8-12 headcount; deliver quarterly business reviews demonstrating marketing ROI and influence on bookings

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Blended cost per new customer across all channels; track payback period against net revenue retention.

Net Revenue Retention (NRR)

Revenue growth from existing customers through upsell and expansion; marketing supports through retention and advocacy programs.

Marketing Contribution to Bookings

Percentage of closed deals influenced by marketing touchpoints across the full customer journey.

Brand Awareness & Mindshare

Quarterly surveys and earned media tracking among target enterprise buyers in ad measurement space.
