The Challenge
A well-known CPG brand in Seattle is hiring their lead social media person — this is an agency placement through Creative People, so you'll work directly at the client company. You'll own the multi-channel presence from strategy to execution: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. The twist — you need to be comfortable on camera. You're not just managing the brand's social, you're becoming its face.
Your Mission
Immerse yourself in the brand — product, audience, competitors, current social performance
Define the social strategy across all platforms with clear content pillars and posting cadence
Shoot your first batch of on-camera content — establish the brand's video personality
Set up measurement framework — what you'll track and how you'll report
Grow key social metrics by 25%+ (followers, engagement, video views)
Build a content production system — batch shoots, editing pipeline, approval workflow
Launch a cross-functional campaign with the cafe and partnerships teams
Become the recognized face/voice of the brand across social platforms

- You use data to make creative decisions — intuition backed by analytics
- You're camera-shy — being the brand's on-screen personality is core to this role
- You want remote flexibility — it's 5 days on-site in Seattle
- You prefer strategy-only roles — this is strategy AND daily execution
