The Challenge

High-growth AI SaaS is scaling aggressively in the US market and building out product marketing from the ground up. You'll shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy during a pivotal growth phase where your work directly influences competitive differentiation.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Develop and articulate core product positioning, messaging framework, and value propositions for 3+ key use cases

Conduct comprehensive market, competitive, and customer research to inform ICP/persona definitions and messaging pillars

3

Create first iteration of sales enablement materials (battle cards, one-pagers, pitch decks) and customer-facing content

4

Support one product launch or major GTM initiative from strategy through execution and adoption tracking

By 6 Months
1

Establish product marketing playbook: positioning templates, messaging guidelines, launch process, and content frameworks

2

Drive measurable impact on sales velocity and product adoption through refined messaging and enablement (target: 15%+ improvement in deal velocity or feature adoption)

3

Build comprehensive competitive positioning across 5+ competitor profiles with quarterly updates

4

Own website messaging refresh, key landing pages, and content strategy aligned to buyer journey

KPIs You'll Own

Sales enablement adoption

Percentage of sales team actively using PMM materials and messaging in deals.

Product launch velocity

Time from feature/product launch announcement to first customer wins and adoption metrics.

Messaging effectiveness

Win rate and deal velocity lift post-messaging refinement vs. baseline.

Content performance

Engagement and conversion rates on customer-facing collateral and website content.

  • You prefer deep specialization in one area (campaigns, content, analytics) over broad PMM ownership
