The Challenge

YURI & NEIL is a 120-person digital marketing agency hunting for a Senior SEO Consultant who can own enterprise client relationships from audit through execution. You'll manage high-complexity accounts (international, massive page volumes, JS-heavy sites) and drive real visibility gains—then upsell adjacent services.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and present strategic roadmaps for 2-3 assigned enterprise clients with clear, prioritized recommendations

Establish weekly cadence with clients across calls, Slack, and in-person meetings to track progress and gather feedback

Demonstrate command of core SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Oncrawl, Screaming Frog) in client-ready presentations

4

Shadow 1-2 RFP pitches with sales to understand how strategy translates to new business

By 6 Months
1

Deliver measurable visibility gains (organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions) across your portfolio and present quarterly business reviews

Identify and pitch 2+ expansion opportunities (to new SEO scope or adjacent services like content/technical) with clients

3

Mentor 1-2 junior consultants or interns; contribute to internal SEO training sessions and competitive intelligence

4

Win a new client pitch by leading the strategic presentation and proposal

Organic Traffic Growth

Month-over-month and YoY percentage increase in qualified organic sessions for each client.

Keyword Rankings Moved

Number of target keywords moved into top 10 / top 3 positions per quarter.

Client Satisfaction / NPS

Quarterly feedback and retention rate on your portfolio accounts.

Service Expansion Revenue

Value of new SEO scope or adjacent services upsold to existing clients.

RFP Win Rate

% of pitches you participate in that close to new business.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've spent 4+ years in agency or in-house SEO and know how to move the needle on enterprise accounts
  • You're fluent in tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Oncrawl) and can build a narrative from data into actionable strategy
  • You can own client relationships: balance rigor with pedagogy, handle difficult conversations, and think like a fractional CMO
  • You're hungry to mentor juniors and contribute to thought leadership (internal training, RFPs, SEO research)
Won't Work If
  • You're looking for heads-down tactical execution only; this role demands strategic ownership and client-facing leadership
  • Your English isn't operationally fluent or you haven't managed non-French-speaking clients
  • You treat SEO as a checklist; you need genuine curiosity about algorithm changes, competitive positioning, and long-term visibility
