The Challenge
Walmart's eCommerce Marketplace is scaling fast, and sellers are the engine. You'll build 0-1 products that unlock 10x growth for millions of sellers globally—using ML and Gen AI to transform how they price, review, and sell.
Your Mission
Map seller pain points across catalog quality, pricing, and review ecosystems; validate top 3 opportunities with 50+ seller interviews
Establish baseline metrics: seller GMV growth, offer quality lift, recommendation platform engagement, and team velocity
Build and onboard core product leadership team; define OKRs for first two product domains and secure cross-functional alignment
Deliver first quick-win feature or seller insight product iteration to validate product-market fit and build internal credibility
Launch recommendation platform MVP with 10K+ seller users; measure adoption, engagement, and impact on seller GMV/growth
Scale pricing and review improvement capabilities to 500K+ sellers; track offer quality lift and transactability gains
Demonstrate measurable impact: target 15%+ GMV growth for engaged sellers, 25%+ improvement in catalog quality metrics
Establish ML/Gen AI product development patterns; deliver 2-3 AI-powered features that reduce seller friction by 30%+
