The Challenge
VR is looking for a Product Marketing Analyst to own product communication strategy and narratives across a fast-moving organization. You'll be the connective tissue between product, sales, and leadership-turning market insights and data into compelling stories that drive adoption and engagement.
Your Mission
Map current product messaging landscape, identify inconsistencies, and establish baseline communication standards across all materials (decks, guides, one-pagers)
Lead first GTM communication sprint: analyze competitive positioning, market shifts, and deliver updated narratives and sales enablement materials
Establish governance rituals with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product messaging stays aligned and evolves with product changes
Build data baseline: track adoption, conversion, and engagement metrics to identify communication gaps and measure impact of messaging updates
Own end-to-end product communication strategy for 2-3 major product launches or feature releases with measured GTM outcomes
Develop and maintain a product messaging library with standardized positioning, use cases, competitive differentiators, and stakeholder-ready narratives
Implement quarterly product communication reviews analyzing market feedback, competitive moves, and internal metrics to recommend strategic updates
Scale cross-functional collaboration model: reduce time-to-market for product communications and increase messaging consistency across squads and sales teams
KPIs You'll Own
Product Messaging Adoption Rate
% of sales team and squads using standardized messaging in customer conversations and materials
GTM Campaign Performance
Conversion rates, engagement rates, and time-to-value for product launches where you own narrative strategy
Product Narrative Velocity
Time from product change to updated messaging across all channels and stakeholders
Stakeholder Satisfaction
Internal NPS from product, sales, and leadership on clarity, accuracy, and usefulness of product communications

Values diversity and inclusion. Describes itself as dynamic, hands-on, and builder-focused. Welcomes people with disabilities (PcD).
Is This Role For You?
- You've shipped product launches (GTM) and know how to translate product features into customer value narratives
- You're comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and can influence without authority across squads and sales teams
- You live and breathe data-you analyze adoption, engagement, and conversion metrics to drive strategic decisions
- You're detail-oriented but strategic: you can write compelling decks AND ensure technical accuracy in product communications
- You expect a permanent role-this is explicitly temporary and project-based
- You prefer working solo-this role is all about cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- You lack hands-on product marketing or GTM experience; this is a MID-level role requiring proven track record
