The Challenge
Topify is building the infrastructure for AI agents to discover and amplify brands—and you're the first person to chart the GTM playbook. You'll own everything from demand gen to closing the first 100 customers, establishing the acquisition engine that scales this from 0 to $5-20M ARR.
Your Mission
Define and launch 2-3 primary demand gen channels (SEO, paid, community) with baseline PQL volume targets and cost-per-acquisition benchmarks
Develop and validate enterprise sales playbook with first 10-15 customer meetings and documented feedback loops
Build pricing strategy framework aligned to unit economics and competitive positioning within MarTech/AI landscape
Establish GTM reporting dashboard tracking pipeline, conversion rates, and CAC across all acquisition channels
Acquire first 50-75 paying customers with documented case studies and repeatable sales process
Achieve $500K-$1M ARR with validated unit economics and clear path to $5M+ runway
Launch 2 vertical whitepapers or segment-specific positioning to differentiate in crowded MarTech space
Build and operationalize CSM integration to track product-market fit signals and retention metrics
KPIs You'll Own
MQL-to-SQL Conversion Rate
Track quality of demand gen output and sales team efficiency in converting marketing leads to qualified opportunities.
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Measure efficiency of spend across channels and ensure payback period aligns with product LTV.
Pipeline Coverage Ratio
Maintain 3-4x coverage of monthly ARR targets to ensure predictable revenue growth trajectory.
Sales Cycle Length
Monitor time-to-close for first cohorts to refine sales playbook and predict cash flow timing.
Product-Qualified Lead (PQL) Volume
Measure quality of self-serve/freemium funnel engagement before sales handoff to validate product-market fit.

- You're primarily a brand/content marketer—this role is acquisition, sales, and revenue focused with limited top-of-funnel brand spend
- You can't commit to SF on-site work or require remote flexibility—company is explicitly on-site for founding phase

Founders present Topify's early customer feedback and market position; you sketch out first 90-day plan including channels, pricing, and sales model
