The Challenge

Tavus has built one of the most technically remarkable AI platforms for human simulation-but most developers and enterprises haven't seen what it's actually capable of. You'll be the bridge between world-class product and market discovery, shipping stunning interactive demos, viral developer tools, and GTM campaigns that earn real attention.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Ship 2-3 high-converting interactive demos (sandbox, starter kit, API showcase) that reduce developer time-to-value from weeks to minutes

2

Launch a flagship GTM campaign asset (landing page, product showcase, or visual explainer) that reflects Tavus's technical caliber and drives qualified inbound

3

Establish credible presence in 2-3 key developer communities (forums, Discord, social) with substantive technical contributions and tutorials

4

Build internal GTM automation tool that cuts campaign asset creation time by 40% for sales/marketing teams

By 6 Months
1

Achieve 10K+ organic developer signups driven by your content, integrations, and community presence

2

Ship 5+ open-source projects, API showcases, or integrations that drive word-of-mouth discovery and earn backlinks

3

Design and execute 3 major product launch campaigns (tied to Phoenix-4, Raven-1, CVI) with measurable lift in trial conversion

4

Reduce time-to-demo for enterprise prospects from 1 week to 48 hours via templated, configurable demo infrastructure

KPIs You'll Own

Developer Trial Conversion Rate

% of developers who interact with your demos/content that convert to active API users within 30 days.

Organic Discovery Volume

Monthly new signups attributed to your content, tutorials, integrations, and community presence (target: viral coefficient >1.2).

Demo Engagement & Time-to-Value

Avg time for developer to see working AI Human in your demo/sandbox; target <5 minutes to first 'wow' moment.

Enterprise GTM Asset Performance

Click-through rate, demo request rate, and conversion lift on landing pages and campaign assets you design.

Community Presence & Credibility

Engagement on your posts/tutorials, GitHub stars, forum upvotes, and invites to speak/collaborate with developer orgs.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped real projects as both engineer and marketer-you code well AND have taste for design and storytelling
  • You're energized by developer communities and enjoy building credibility through authentic technical contribution, not just broadcasting
  • You can prototype, experiment, and ship independently without waiting on design/engineering-you use AI tools and no-code to move fast
  • You're drawn to platforms with real technical depth and emotional resonance; you want your work to matter beyond vanity metrics
  • You thrive at the intersection of code, creativity, and go-to-market-you see these as unified, not separate disciplines
Won't Work If
  • You're a marketer first and engineer second-this role demands genuine coding ability and shipped projects, not just 'technical marketing'
  • You need process, approval chains, and clear guardrails-you'll move faster than org structures can accommodate; you need autonomy to experiment
  • You're not excited about developers and communities; you'd rather optimize ads or run demand gen funnels

Interview Process

1

Initial Screen

Conversation about your background across dev relations, growth eng, and GTM. They'll ask about shipped projects and your approach to demos/content.

2

Portfolio & Technical Review

You'll share examples of demos, landing pages, content, or open-source projects you've built. Expect detailed feedback on aesthetic and technical execution.

3

Take-Home Challenge

Likely a short project: build a simple interactive demo, landing page, or API integration showcasing Tavus capabilities. Shows your taste, speed, and technical range.

4

Founder/Leadership Conversation

Deep dive on vision, long-term GTM strategy, and how you'd build developer motion for an AI Human platform. Expect questions about community strategy and virality.
