We’re looking for our first Growth Marketer — a creative, scrappy generalist who will own how the world discovers our product. You’ll sit at the intersection of storytelling, search, social, and product, turning a powerful developer platform into a brand that builders, operators, and teams actively seek out.
This is a true 0-to-1 role. There is no existing playbook, no inherited content calendar, and no agency support. You’ll design the playbook, ship the first campaigns, and build the loops that compound over time. You’ll report directly to the founders and play a key role in shaping how the product converts visitors into power users.

What You Will Own
Brand & Narrative
Define how the product sounds, looks, and feels across every touchpoint. Translate a technical platform into a story that resonates with both engineers and non-engineers — from homepage copy to keynote decks to the voice on social channels.
SEO & Organic Acquisition
Build the content engine from scratch. Own keyword research, topical authority, technical SEO hygiene, and long-tail strategy that turns search intent into activated users. Balance ranking-driven content with pieces that earn backlinks and shape the category.
Content Strategy
Ship a steady cadence of blogs, tutorials, videos, launch posts, case studies, and community content. Partner with engineering to turn product depth into content that teaches, converts, and spreads.
Social & Community (0-to-1)
Stand up and scale programs across Twitter/X, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn. Learn each platform’s native language, run weekly experiments, and identify which channels compound.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships
Identify trusted builders, creators, and technical voices. Run outreach, craft briefs, negotiate scope, and measure ROI. Build a repeatable program that turns one-off collaborations into sustained distribution.
Product-Led Growth Loops
Work closely with engineering and design to embed growth into the product — onboarding, activation, referrals, sharing primitives, and in-product moments that drive organic reach.
Funnel & Analytics
Instrument, measure, and iterate across the full funnel — from impression to activated user. Run hypothesis-driven experiments and make decisions based on data, not intuition.
Who You Are
1–3 years experience, with exceptional slope
You’ve worked in marketing, content, or growth — at a startup, agency, or independently. You may not have seen everything, but you learn fast and improve constantly.
Writer at heart
You have taste. You can write a tweet, a long-form essay, and a landing page headline — and you know what separates good from great.
Generalist with range
You’re comfortable writing, editing video, debugging SEO issues, briefing creators, and analyzing funnels. You don’t wait for specialists — you figure it out and ship.
Platform-native
You actively use platforms like X, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You understand what works, who matters, and why most brand content fails.
Rapid learner
You enjoy working at the frontier — whether it’s AI-driven search, creator ecosystems, or new workflows. You’re energized by unfamiliar problems.
High agency
You spot friction and fix it — whether it’s a weak landing page, missing tracking, or unclear messaging. You act without waiting for permission.
AI-native
You use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and emerging creative AI daily — as leverage, not a crutch — and understand where they add value vs. flatten creativity.
Quantitative mindset
You’re comfortable with spreadsheets and dashboards. You use data to justify bets and quickly kill what isn’t working.
Bonus Points
A portfolio of content, campaigns, or side projects that exceeded expectations (viral threads, ranked blogs, growing a channel, building a community)
Technical fluency — experience with code, APIs, or no-code tools
Experience in developer tools, AI, or technical B2B products
Experience running creator or influencer programs end-to-end (or being a creator yourself)
Early-stage startup experience (pre-Series A), especially as an early marketing or growth hire

You’ll work directly with the founders to shape go-to-market strategy and the product roadmap. The team is small, high-density, and focused on intellectual honesty, strong taste, and rapid execution.
