Société Générale is modernizing how France's largest bank engages customers across iOS and Android. You'll own the communication strategy for retail banking apps serving millions, analyzing store reviews and building competitive advantage through smart content and community engagement.
Your Mission
Launch communication strategy for App Store and Google Play with editorial calendar and content pillars
Respond to and analyze 100%+ of customer reviews across both stores, identifying trends and improvement areas
Produce 20+ original content pieces (app store copy, social assets, customer guides) in French
Conduct competitive analysis of 5+ banking apps and deliver first insights report
Achieve 15%+ improvement in app store ratings through strategic community management and content optimization
Build reusable content templates and editorial frameworks for sustained scaling post-internship
Deliver quarterly performance reporting with quantitative (downloads, reviews, sentiment) and qualitative insights
Successfully transition knowledge and processes to permanent team member for continuity

Review Response Rate
Percentage of customer reviews responded to within SLA; measure engagement and customer satisfaction signals.

Sentiment Analysis Score
Qualitative assessment of review tone and customer sentiment; track month-over-month trends.
Competitive Positioning
Relative app store ranking and review count vs. competitive set; inform strategic priorities.

Is This Role For You?
- You're a Bac+4/5 student (commerce, journalism, marketing, communications) eager to own real community dynamics at scale
- You live and breathe social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn) and understand app store marketing mechanics
- You write cleanly in French and can navigate English-speaking international teams with ease
- You're analytical: you interpret store metrics, review sentiment, and competitive moves—then act on them
- You expect a traditional corporate internship with busywork; this role demands real strategy ownership from day one
- You're not fluent in French or uncomfortable writing/communicating in it daily; content production is core
- You don't have basic graphic design or content creation skills (Photoshop/Canva minimum); you'll be producing assets, not just strategizing
- You're looking for pure remote work; this is hybrid with expected office presence in Paris
Interview Process
Initial Phone Screen
30 min with HR: motivation, availability (6-month timeline), French/English fluency check, remote expectations
Portfolio & Writing Test
Submit 2-3 examples of community management or content work (social posts, app reviews, digital copy); short writing sample in French
Manager Interview
45-60 min with Digital Products team lead: deep dive into app store strategy, metrics interpretation, how you'd approach the role
Case Study / Work Sample
Analyze a fictional banking app's store presence (reviews, competition) and propose 3 quick wins; creative + analytical
