The Challenge
Showpo is a $100M+ Australian fashion brand conquering global markets with social-first strategy. As Head of Marketing, you'll lead the charge into the US market and scale a brand that's already proven it can win with Gen Z women worldwide.
Your Mission
Audit current US market positioning and competitive landscape; define year-one US growth strategy with clear CAC targets and regional prioritization
Build and align extended marketing leadership team (brand, social, content, paid, analytics); establish weekly cross-functional syncs with Product, eCommerce, and Ops
Launch Q1 integrated US brand awareness campaign across paid social, organic, and earned channels; establish baseline brand metrics and engagement benchmarks
Develop 12-month global marketing roadmap with specific growth targets for US (primary), EMEA, and APAC expansion markets
Achieve minimum 40% YoY growth in US customer acquisition; optimize CAC to under $25 through channel mix and creative testing
Drive US brand awareness lift of 15-25% through integrated campaign; establish Showpo as top-3 consideration set for Gen Z women's fashion
Scale social audience growth to 500K+ new followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube with 8%+ engagement rates
Hire and onboard 3-5 marketing specialists; implement performance management system with clear OKRs cascading to direct reports

Social Engagement Rate
Monitor organic engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Reels; maintain 8%+ benchmark for owned content.
International Revenue Contribution
Track US revenue as % of total; establish baseline and quarterly growth trajectory toward 35%+ of total revenue.
Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
Measure repeat purchase rates and AOV by acquisition channel; ensure brand-led campaigns drive higher CLV cohorts.
Team Retention & Velocity
Monitor marketing team stability and time-to-hire; target 90%+ retention and 6-week average fill time.

- You lack direct eCommerce or DTC background; B2B or enterprise marketing experience doesn't translate here
