The Challenge
SE10 is a global PR and communications agency hunting for a sharp Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager to own strategy and execution for tech-sector clients across the U.S. You'll be the principal client contact, translating complex tech into engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube while managing paid campaigns and proving ROI.
Your Mission
Audit and stabilize 2-3 anchor tech client accounts; establish baseline metrics and KPIs for each
Create and launch first tailored social strategy decks for assigned clients with platform-specific recommendations
Demonstrate proficiency across Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads—run and optimize first paid campaigns
Build repeatable content calendars and reporting templates; establish weekly/monthly cadence with clients
Grow organic reach and engagement by 25-40% across assigned client accounts; prove impact with monthly reports
Manage $100K+ in paid social and search budgets; hit or exceed ROAS targets (typically 3:1 for lead gen, 2:1 for awareness)
Develop proprietary frameworks for tech/industrial sector social strategy; pitch to 2-3 prospective clients
Lead cross-functional coordination with creative, video, and vendor partners; deliver 8+ full campaigns from brief to post-mortem
KPIs You'll Own
Paid Campaign ROAS
Return on ad spend across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads—target 2.5:1 minimum depending on campaign type.
Organic Engagement Rate
Likes, comments, shares as % of followers; benchmark against platform and industry averages monthly.
Lead Generation Cost (LGC)
Cost per qualified lead delivered through paid social and search campaigns; track against client targets.
Content Output & Velocity
Posts published per week across platforms; on-time delivery against editorial calendar.
Client Satisfaction & Retention
NPS or satisfaction score from quarterly check-ins; zero unplanned account churn.
