The Challenge

Samsara is digitizing physical operations across 40% of global GDP—agriculture, construction, logistics, manufacturing. You'll engineer the growth engine: building product-led experiences that convert trials to customers and drive expansion revenue at scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Ship 2-3 high-impact experiments on self-serve onboarding or trial-to-purchase conversion funnel

Establish baseline metrics and dashboards for your growth initiative—CAC, LTV, expansion ARR, trial conversion rate

Partner with product/marketing to identify top 3 revenue leaks in customer journey; propose engineering solutions

4

Build or improve 1 core internal tool/platform that enables faster iteration (e.g., experimentation framework, analytics pipeline)

By 6 Months
1

Drive measurable revenue impact: 15-25% lift on primary conversion metric (trial-to-paid, expansion, or renewal rate)

Launch 8-12 A/B tests end-to-end; demonstrate ability to translate business hypothesis into code, data, and learning

Own full-stack architecture of 1 major growth initiative (backend APIs, Vue frontend, AWS deployment, analytics)

Mentor 1-2 engineers on growth mindset; establish best practices for shipping fast without technical debt
