The Challenge

Real Life Catholic is scaling fast—expanding their content platform, growing monthly donors, and launching a national Confirmation prep series. They need a Director of Growth to execute and optimize across email, social, and fundraising to hit aggressive growth targets.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current email funnel performance and implement 2-3 optimization tests to improve conversion rates from social → email subscribers

Build and launch a 90-day content distribution calendar across YouTube, Facebook, X, and email with clear KPI targets

Establish baseline metrics for all growth channels (email open rates, donor conversion, social engagement) and create weekly reporting dashboard

Execute the pre-launch strategy for CORE (Confirmation prep series) including email sequences, landing pages, and campaign timeline

By 6 Months

Grow email subscriber base by 25-35% through optimized social-to-email funnels and lead generation campaigns

Increase monthly donor base (Missionaries of Joy) by 20%+ through refined nurture sequences and donor journey optimization

Launch CORE series with 5,000+ initial signups and establish repeatable playbook for future product launches

Identify and scale top 2-3 content/campaign formats that drive highest engagement and conversion, doubling down on winning tactics

Email Subscriber Growth Rate

Track weekly/monthly growth in email list size across all campaigns and funnels, targeting 25-35% growth in first 6 months.

Donor Conversion Rate

Measure percentage of email subscribers converting to monthly donors, with goal to improve through nurture sequence optimization.

Social-to-Email Conversion

Track conversion rates from each social platform (YouTube, Facebook, X) to email signup, identifying which channels drive highest quality leads.

Campaign ROI (Product Sales & Event Attendance)

Measure revenue and attendance generated per marketing dollar spent across all campaigns and channels.

Email Engagement Metrics

Monitor open rates, click rates, and unsubscribe rates across daily/weekly email sends to optimize messaging and send times.

Social Engagement Rate

Track engagement (likes, comments, shares, video watch time) across YouTube, Facebook, and X to identify top-performing content.
