The Challenge

PayPal is doubling down on crypto payments across 200+ markets. You'll own the go-to-market strategy for a high-velocity, regulated vertical—building partnerships, negotiating deals, and aligning product to unlock a new revenue engine.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map crypto payment GTM landscape: identify 5-8 strategic partnership opportunities and regulatory pathways across key markets

Establish cross-functional steering committee with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance; align on crypto roadmap and business model

Negotiate LOIs with 2-3 pilot partners (exchanges, wallets, merchants) to validate product-market fit and pricing

4

Define crypto revenue targets, unit economics, and KPI framework for 12-month growth plan

By 6 Months

Launch crypto payment rails with 3+ live partners; track transaction volume, conversion rate, and repeat usage

Grow merchant crypto wallet integration by 50% through partnership expansion and channel development

Secure $X ARR pipeline through strategic negotiations; close minimum 1 enterprise partnership

Refine positioning, pricing, and FX strategy based on market data; influence product roadmap for next 12 months

  • You're comfortable with regulatory complexity (AML, money transmission, securities) and can navigate it
  • You thrive in matrix orgs and can influence without authority; cross-functional alignment is your strength
  • You have 10+ years in growth/GTM roles, ideally 2+ in crypto/Web3 or regulated payments
  • You can own revenue targets and are comfortable with data-driven trade-offs (pricing, FX, partnerships)
Won't Work If
  • You want pure crypto idealism; PayPal's crypto play is pragmatic, regulated, and merchant-centric—not DeFi.
  • You need full remote or flexible schedule; this is on-site Austin with cross-functional intensity.
  • You've only done product marketing or demand gen; this role is strategy + partnerships + revenue ownership.
