Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all customer and partner touchpoint.

  • Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth in South Africa.

  • Manage partner marketing initiatives with retail and channel partners to increase activations and strengthen market presence.

  • Oversee kiosk branding, visibility, and customer engagement strategies across retail environments.

  • Drive PR and communications activities to enhance PayJoy’s brand reputation and media presence in the market.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, CX, Collections and Operations teams to support commercial objectives and campaign execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, brand management, or partner marketing.

  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across retail and channel environments.

  • Strong understanding of PR, branding, point-of-sale marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and external partners effectively.

  • Experience in fintech, telecommunications, retail, or consumer finance industries is preferred.

  • Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive market growth and support commercial objectives through marketing initiatives.
