We are now entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a marketing leader who can build and scale our marketing engine.


Role Overview


As

Head of Growth & Marketing

, you will own MAKS’ marketing strategy and execution with direct accountability for customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand authority.


This role is both strategic and hands-on. In the early stages, you will personally execute key elements of performance marketing, content, and analytics while building the foundation for a scalable marketing function.


You are a strategist who builds the runway while you fly.


Success in this role will be measured by improvements in key growth metrics such as:

• Customer acquisition cost (CAC)

• Conversion rate optimization

• Paid media efficiency

• Organic traffic growth

• Marketplace performance (eBay, Amazon, etc.)

• Revenue generated through marketing channels

What You’ll Do - Growth Strategy & Leadership


• Develop and lead MAKS’ overall growth and marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals.

• Identify high-leverage opportunities to increase customer acquisition, improve conversion rates, and grow lifetime value.

• Set and track clear performance metrics that demonstrate marketing ROI and revenue impact.

• Analyze marketplace trends, customer behavior, and channel performance to guide strategic decisions.


Performance Marketing & Analytics


Plan, manage, and optimize performance marketing across channels including:

• Google Ads and search marketing

• Paid social

• Marketplace advertising

• Retargeting and funnel optimization

• Continuously improve conversion rates through landing page testing, funnel optimization, and experimentation.

• Use analytics and attribution tools to identify high-performing channels and eliminate wasted spend.

• Build dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership clear visibility into growth performance.


Go-To-Market & Positioning


• Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches, promotions, and major initiatives.

• Establish and refine MAKS’ brand voice across channels and customer segments.

• Strengthen MAKS’ position as a trusted authority in automotive electronics.

• Ensure consistent messaging across website, marketplace listings, campaigns, and sales channels.


Content Authority & Education


• Help position MAKS as the leading authority in automotive electronics.

• Develop educational content that simplifies complex technical issues for customers and technicians.

• Support and grow MAKS’ YouTube presence through publishing, optimization, and content strategy.

• Create or direct high-impact content including video, photography. product visuals, and campaign creative.


Hands-On Execution


In the early stages of this role you will personally contribute to key marketing activities while building systems and processes that allow the function to scale.


This includes:

• Managing campaigns

• Reviewing analytics

• Optimizing landing pages

• Creating or directing marketing assets

• Contributing to social and content planning


You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Leadership to ensure marketing initiatives support company priorities.

• Translate customer insights and performance data into actionable improvements across the organization.

• Communicate marketing performance and strategic insights clearly to leadership.


Who You Are


• 7+ years of experience in growth, digital marketing, or product marketing roles.

• Proven ability to own marketing outcomes and tie them directly to revenue or business performance.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.

• Hands-on experience with performance marketing, paid media, and conversion optimization.

• Comfortable experimenting, testing ideas quickly, and iterating based on results.

• Excellent communication skills and strong personal ownership.

• Curious and comfortable learning technical products and translating complex concepts into clear customer value.

• Experience in

eCommerce, marketplaces, or technical products

is a strong advantage.

• Experience with

YouTube or video-based content marketing

is highly valuable.
