Accountabilities:
Own the Community Growth intelligence agenda by identifying high-value strategic questions, prioritizing analytical work, and ensuring insights meaningfully inform team and product roadmaps.
Translate ambiguous growth opportunities into clear hypotheses, analytical plans, opportunity sizing, recommendations, and actionable next steps.
Build decision-ready investment cases connecting community and product strategy, resource requirements, expected impact, tradeoffs, and risks.
Establish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and operating rhythms for growth initiatives while independently exploring data and partnering with Data Science on deeper analyses and data architecture.
Create a consistent rhythm of business through portfolio prioritization, business reviews, progress reporting, and concise narratives that communicate results, learnings, and areas for improvement.
Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution, measurement, and iteration in partnership with Community, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Finance.
Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders by challenging assumptions, surfacing tradeoffs, clarifying priorities, and aligning stakeholders around a path forward.
Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of analysts and strategists while remaining actively involved in analysis, synthesis, and execution.
Help scale the intelligence function as its scope and influence across the broader organization grow.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in community growth, community marketing, strategy and operations, product strategy, business analytics, management consulting, or a related discipline, including experience with a consumer product or platform.
Demonstrated track record of sizing opportunities, developing investment cases, translating analysis into prioritization decisions, and driving measurable business outcomes.
Strong analytical fluency, including advanced spreadsheet modeling and working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to perform hands-on analysis and interrogate imperfect or complex data.
Ability to work effectively with Data Science partners without needing to be a data scientist, while understanding analytical methodologies, data limitations, and implications for decision-making.
Experience defining KPIs and measurement frameworks and applying experimentation or other rigorous approaches to evaluate business and growth initiatives.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing people while maintaining a hands-on approach to problem solving and execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to transform complex information into concise, compelling, and decision-ready narratives for senior leaders.
Proven ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
Experience in management consulting, chief of staff, business operations, or growth strategy roles that combined structured problem solving with hands-on execution.
Experience working across both a scaled consumer organization and a startup or scale-up environment.
Experience with product-led, ecosystem, or community growth environments.
Strong ownership, business judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead data-driven analyses from problem definition through measurable outcomes.
Benefits:
Annual U.S. base salary range of $223,600-$313,000 USD.
This posting may cover more than one career level, and final compensation is determined based on factors including skills, depth of experience, relevant credentials, and location.
