Accountabilities

  • Proactively source, identify, recruit, and activate high-performing micro, macro, and professional beauty and haircare creators across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Build and maintain a diverse affiliate pipeline aligned with brand positioning, product categories, audience profiles, and commercial objectives.

  • Develop compelling creator outreach strategies and negotiate commission structures, product seeding packages, and performance-based incentives.

  • Design and continuously improve the affiliate onboarding process, ensuring creators receive appropriate links, discount codes, product education, content guidelines, and campaign resources.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for affiliate partners, building strong long-term relationships and keeping products and campaigns integrated into creator content calendars.

  • Provide creators with monthly trend insights, product launch information, promotional opportunities, and relevant creative assets to maximize affiliate performance.

  • Monitor affiliate and influencer content for compliance with FTC disclosure requirements, platform policies, brand guidelines, and applicable advertising standards.

  • Conduct regular audits to identify coupon abuse, unauthorized bidding, misleading product claims, inappropriate content, or other activities that could create financial or reputational risk.

  • Address compliance violations promptly, including managing partner terminations and updating affiliate agreements as social commerce and platform requirements evolve.

  • Optimize affiliate tracking and performance programs across established affiliate networks, TikTok Shop Affiliate Marketplace, Meta Shops, and other emerging social commerce channels.

  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators, including ROI, conversion rates, Average Order Value (AOV), active partner rates, and affiliate revenue.

  • Present monthly performance insights and recommendations to leadership, identifying opportunities to improve recruitment, engagement, conversion, and overall program profitability.

  • Apply a results-oriented and adaptable approach to continuously improve influencer and affiliate programs as market trends, algorithms, and consumer behaviors evolve.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of direct experience managing affiliate, influencer, ambassador, or creator programs, preferably within D2C beauty, haircare, cosmetics, or a closely related consumer industry.

  • Strong haircare industry experience is highly valued.

  • Deep understanding of TikTok, including TikTok Shop mechanics, as well as Instagram and Facebook/Meta communities and social commerce behavior.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify creators with strong conversion potential and understand the content, audience, and engagement factors that drive purchases.

  • Proven knowledge of FTC requirements for digital influencers and experience implementing scalable affiliate and creator compliance processes.

  • Hands-on experience with affiliate or influencer management platforms such as CreatorIQ, ShareASale, GRIN, Impact, Aspire, or comparable tools.

  • Experience using social analytics and performance measurement tools to evaluate creator and affiliate effectiveness.

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to structure mutually beneficial partnerships and incentives.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple creators, campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Persuasive and empathetic communication style, with the ability to build authentic relationships while maintaining professional standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and the confidence to act quickly when opportunities or risks emerge.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a rapidly changing social commerce environment where platform algorithms, trends, and policies evolve frequently.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive results, adapt to changing situations, and move initiatives forward with urgency.
