Accountabilities:
Own enrollment strategy: Lead enrollment marketing strategy for a portfolio of large employer and health plan clients, developing account-specific awareness, engagement, and activation plans while owning enrollment forecasts and performance.
Diagnose engagement challenges: Analyze client, member, and funnel data to identify barriers to engagement and enrollment, determine root causes, and translate findings into focused improvement plans.
Develop activation strategies: Design tailored combinations of communications, audience targeting, employer channels, incentives, benefit design, executive sponsorship, and member-experience interventions to improve enrollment outcomes.
Test and scale initiatives: Run client-specific pilots and experiments, evaluate their effectiveness, and share successful approaches with lifecycle and marketing teams for broader testing and implementation.
Drive client adoption: Partner with Client Success and senior client stakeholders to present data-backed recommendations, build business cases, secure buy-in, and guide stakeholders through approvals and implementation.
Lead cross-functional execution: Coordinate with Member Activation, Lifecycle Growth, Marketing Operations, Data, Design, Product, Clinical Operations, and Client Success to translate strategic priorities into effective execution.
Build the enrollment marketing function: Establish operating models, measurement frameworks, processes, tools, and client segmentation approaches that enable enrollment strategy to scale across a growing and increasingly complex customer base.
Shape future team development: As the function expands, help identify organizational needs, define roles, and contribute to building a high-performing Enrollment Marketing team.
Requirements
Experience: 6+ years of experience in enrollment marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, consumer strategy, client marketing, or a closely related discipline, with a demonstrated track record of influencing consumer behavior.
Strategic and analytical expertise: Strong ability to break down complex growth challenges, identify the variables that matter, analyze data, and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
Consumer engagement experience: Proven experience designing and executing programs that increase awareness, engagement, activation, or conversion, ideally with measurable business outcomes.
Enterprise client experience: Experience working directly with large enterprise customers, employers, health plans, or similarly complex stakeholder groups, with the ability to move from analysis and recommendations to stakeholder alignment and implementation.
Commercial mindset: Understanding of how enrollment performance can influence member outcomes, customer value, ROI, and broader business performance, with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on opportunity size and expected impact.
Hands-on execution: Comfortable moving between high-level strategy and detailed execution, including campaign development, data analysis, presentations, implementation troubleshooting, and performance tracking.
Cross-functional leadership: Ability to influence and coordinate teams without direct reporting authority, establish priorities, create clarity, maintain momentum, and resolve or escalate obstacles effectively.
Builder mentality: Comfortable operating without an established playbook and motivated to create scalable processes, tools, frameworks, and best practices from the ground up.
Communication and stakeholder management: Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex analytical insights and strategic recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
Leadership potential: Willingness to operate as a senior individual contributor initially while helping shape and eventually grow an Enrollment Marketing function and team.
