Accountabilities:
The Campus Marketing and Development Manager leads digital fundraising, direct mail, and marketing initiatives for a portfolio of campus organizations. The role requires combining strategic planning, campaign execution, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to increase donor engagement and support organizational goals.
Develop and execute annual fundraising and marketing strategies, including stewardship campaigns, donor appeals, renewal messaging, and newsletters.
Create and manage digital fundraising campaigns across email, websites, text messaging, and social media channels.
Lead direct mail initiatives from content development through execution and performance analysis.
Analyze campaign performance data and use insights to improve fundraising strategies and audience engagement.
Build and optimize audience segments, including alumni, parents, community members, and donor groups.
Provide strategic recommendations and best practices to campus partners based on fundraising trends and performance data.
Create, edit, and distribute donor communications with compelling messaging and effective storytelling.
Manage CRM databases, audience reporting, and segmentation processes to support targeted outreach.
Apply digital marketing best practices, including personalization, A/B testing, targeting, and optimization.
Support web-based fundraising initiatives and ensure content aligns with campaign goals.
Collaborate with campus teams and internal stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging and strengthen community engagement.
Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities while delivering high-quality results.
Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing and fundraising professional with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mission-driven work. They should be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and using data to guide strategic decisions.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, nonprofit communications, or a related field.
Proven experience planning and executing digital and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to create compelling fundraising and donor-focused content.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience managing external partners, clients, or multiple stakeholders effectively.
Advanced knowledge of data analysis, audience segmentation, and campaign performance measurement.
Experience using CRM systems or donor databases for reporting and audience management.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools.
Experience creating marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable design tools.
Ability to combine creativity, analytical thinking, and strategic problem-solving.
Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and community-focused initiatives.
