We are a young growing fashion jewellery brand named Retro Chic (“RC”). Inspired by the classic elements inherited from the spectacular 7,000-year history of jewellery, Retro Chic aims to share this heritage with modern women. RC started with great success by launching its initial jewellery pieces, receiving excellent responses among the European celebrity circle and Hollywood stars. RC also received a lot of attention and gained tremendous respect from the fashion industry. Its products have frequently been featured in famous fashion magazines such as Bazaar, Vogue and Elle.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Commercial Manager to drive our growth in Europe. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing sales channels, strengthening brand presence, and managing key relationships. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder with deep knowledge of the fashion and retail landscape. You will act as the key link between our brand and the market – responsible for developing strategic partnerships and managing key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Channel Development & Management
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new sales channels, including online/offline retail, B2B partners, and KOL/livestreamer.
- Negotiate terms and manage ongoing relationships with all channel partners to ensure mutual success.
- Analyze sales data from different channels to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Brand Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute integrated brand marketing plans, including promotional campaigns, new collection launches, and seasonal events.
- Plan and implement email marketing campaigns targeted at B2B partners and end-consumers to drive engagement and sales.
- Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with brand identity and business objectives, and oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns.
- Public Relations & Visual Management
- Lead the PR strategy to increase brand awareness and desirability, building strong relationships with media editors, KOLs, influencers, and live-streamers. Coordinate product seeding, gifting, and collaboration campaigns to generate authentic buzz and drive sales.
- Manage the brand’s visual identity across social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and marketing materials.
- Appear on camera to shoot content, generate visual assets, and support overall content creation for new media platforms.
- Coordination & Market Intelligence
- Provide regular market feedback, consumer insights, and sales performance reports to headquarters.
- Assist with other brand-related tasks, such as coordinating local marketing events, PR activities, or strategic partnerships.
- Act as the key liaison between the European market and global HQ, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role within the fashion, accessories, or luxury goods sector.
A strong existing network in the fashion industry (buyers, boutiques, influencers, media) is a significant advantage.
Strong proficiency in standard workplace software: Excel (data analysis and reporting), Canva (visual content creation), Mailchimp&Klaviyo (email marketing platforms), and generative AI tools.
Familiarity with international logistics, cross-border tax/customs procedures, and basic contract/agreement processes.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Native English speaker (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 2,000.00€ - 2,800.00€ per month
