The Challenge

HarfangLab is a €30M-funded cybersecurity scale-up protecting Fortune 500s and governments. They're ramping event activity across EMEA and need someone to own field marketing execution—from logistics to lead capture—while learning modern event marketing at a high-growth company.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Execute 4-6 EMEA events end-to-end: sourcing venues, coordinating logistics, managing registrations and on-site operations

2

Build event playbook documentation (checklists, vendor contacts, budget templates) for repeatable execution

Capture and report baseline metrics: attendance, lead quality, cost-per-lead for first wave of events

4

Develop stakeholder comms cadence with Sales, Channel, and Customer Success to align event goals and post-event follow-up

By 6 Months
1

Own pipeline contribution tracking: attribute pipeline and revenue to 8+ events you executed

Scale event operations: reduce cost-per-attendee by 15% through vendor negotiation and process optimization

3

Launch 2-3 customer/partner events that drive NPS lift or expansion revenue

4

Create event feedback loop: survey attendees, synthesize insights, iterate messaging and format for next cycle

KPIs You'll Own

Events Executed

Number of prospect, customer, and partner events you successfully coordinated from planning to post-event

Cost Per Lead

Total event spend divided by qualified leads generated and handed to Sales

Attendance Rate

Registered attendees who actually showed up, tracked per event and trended over time

Pipeline Attributed

Revenue pipeline (in EUR) sourced from events you executed, tracked with Sales collaboration

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You're studying marketing, business, or communications and want 12-24 months of hands-on field marketing in a European scale-up
  • You've organized events or logistics before and want to own bigger, higher-stakes EMEA programs
  • You're fluent in English, comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales and Channel teams, and energized by travel
  • You're detail-oriented, proactive, and want to see direct impact of your work on pipeline and revenue
Won't Work If
  • You need full remote—this is 100% on-site in Paris with international travel required
  • You're looking for immediate management responsibility or a permanent role (apprenticeship is fixed-term)
  • You have zero event or logistics experience and prefer desk-based marketing tasks

Recruiter/CMO discusses your event background, travel availability, and why you want field marketing

Case study or project simulation

You walk through how you'd plan and execute a hypothetical EMEA event (logistics, budget, timeline, stakeholder comms)

Field Marketing Manager interview

Deeper dive on day-to-day work: vendor coordination, problem-solving, how you've managed event chaos

4

CMO or team lunch/coffee

Cultural fit, ambitions, and informal discussion of team dynamics
