The Challenge

GlossGenius powers 100K+ small business owners with an all-in-one platform. You'll own their marketing attribution model and funnel optimization—directly impacting growth strategy for a fintech-SMB hybrid.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current multi-touch attribution model, identify 2-3 gaps, and propose improvements to VP of Growth Marketing

Execute first 3 high-impact experiments (A/B tests) with GTM teams; deliver statistical analysis and recommendations

3

Build 2-3 core marketing dashboards (CAC, LTV, payback period) in Looker/Hex with automated weekly refreshes

4

Partner with Data Platform team to integrate AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) into analysis workflows; document 3 automation wins

By 6 Months

Launch and iterate improved multi-touch attribution model; track lift in marketing ROI visibility across channels

Own quarterly channel lift-testing cadence; deliver 4+ statistically significant lift studies with strategic recommendations

Define and operationalize marketing experimentation framework; establish 95% adoption across GTM teams

Reduce time-to-insight by 40% through AI-powered automation; scale analysis to cover customer cohorts, segments, and LTV models

KPIs You'll Own

CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

Track blended CAC across channels and payback period to guide budget allocation.

LTV (Lifetime Value)

Monitor customer cohort LTV to understand long-term unit economics and retention curves.

Attribution Accuracy

Measure confidence in multi-touch model; track variance vs. last-click and first-click baselines.

Experiment Velocity

Count experiments launched per quarter and statistical power achieved; track time-to-decision.

Marketing ROI

Blended return on marketing spend across all channels; primary north star for GTM leadership.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've spent 5+ years in highly analytical roles with 2+ in marketing analytics/science, ideally at SaaS companies
  • You fluently speak SQL and Python and can build regression models, A/B testing frameworks, and media mix models
  • You actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to scale your work and aren't just exploring—you're shipping with them
  • You care deeply about experimental rigor and statistical validity; you've designed and launched 10+ reliable tests
  • You want to be hands-on with GTM leadership, not just a reporter—you're a strategic thought partner
Won't Work If
  • You need remote-first flexibility; this role requires 3-4 days/week in-office in NYC with Tuesday/Thursday attendance mandatory
  • You're stronger in BI/dashboarding than in statistical modeling and experiment design; attribution and testing are core here
  • You're risk-averse with AI tools or prefer traditional analysis; GlossGenius is actively exploring how AI expands analytical possibility
  • You've never built or iterated a multi-touch attribution model; this is a foundational ownership area
