Two-Sided MarketplaceCreator EconomyOn-site$180K-$240KVP-levelHigh-GrowthAI/Agentic Tools

The Challenge

Astrocade is the YouTube of games-20M users in months, backed by Sequoia/NVIDIA/Google. You'll own growth for both sides of a two-sided platform: creators making games and players discovering them. Move fast, build systems, and scale before the space gets crowded.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map and optimize the full creator funnel: awareness → signup → first game published. Target 2-3x improvement in creator-to-published conversion.

2

Stand up paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google with agentic automation. Establish baseline CAC and LTV for both creators and players.

3

Build and deploy 2-3 agentic tools to automate ad creative testing, bid optimization, and performance reporting across platforms.

4

Launch initial PR push in gaming/creator economy media. Secure 3-5 tier-1 placements within 90 days.

By 6 Months
1

Scale creator acquisition to 5M+ new creators. Build repeatable playbooks for paid social, SEO, and organic that don't require constant manual work.

2

Achieve product-market fit signals on player side: sub-$2 CAC with 30%+ Day 7 retention. Own the paid funnel end-to-end.

3

Build scalable SEO/content infrastructure. Rank for 50+ high-intent keywords and drive 100K+ organic monthly impressions by month 6.

4

Hire and onboard first growth team member(s). Document all processes and agentic workflows so they can scale independently.

KPIs You'll Own

Creator-to-Published Rate

% of new creators who publish their first game within 30 days of signup. Primary proxy for creator product-market fit.

Player CAC & LTV Ratio

Cost to acquire a player vs. lifetime value generated. Target 1:3 or better. Drives profitability.

Day 7 & Day 30 Retention

% of players returning 7 and 30 days post-install. Core health metric for both organic and paid campaigns.

Organic vs. Paid Mix

% of growth driven by SEO, social, word-of-mouth vs. paid media. Tracks sustainability of growth engine.

Agentic Tool ROI

Time saved and cost reduction from automation tools. Measure deployment impact on team velocity.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've scaled consumer products and understand two-sided marketplace dynamics (creators + players, supply + demand)
  • You're comfortable being the only growth person, wearing multiple hats (paid media, PR, SEO, social) from day one
  • You can think in systems and build repeatable playbooks, not one-off campaigns. You use agentic tools to automate the busywork.
  • You move fast, move data-driven, and aren't afraid to ship and iterate. You thrive in chaos and ambiguity.
Won't Work If
  • You need a team in place on day one or hate being a solo IC. This role is hands-on and scrappy.
  • You're uncomfortable with on-site work in Palo Alto. This is 100% in-office.
  • You don't understand or embrace AI/agentic automation. The role explicitly requires building tools to automate work at scale.

Interview Process

1

Initial Screen

Likely with founder or Head of People. Expect questions on two-sided platform experience, agentic tool familiarity, and growth case studies.

2

Deep Dive Interview

Technical and strategic. Walk through a growth campaign you've run: how you'd set it up, measure it, and automate it with agentic tools.

3

Founder Conversation

Expect to speak with Amir, Ali, or Fei-Fei. They'll assess mission fit, ambition, and whether you can move at their pace.

4

Take-Home or Live Exercise

Likely a growth audit of Astrocade or similar product. Show your thinking on creator funnel, player acquisition strategy, and automation approach.
