Amplitude is the leading digital analytics platform trusted by thousands of companies to understand user behavior and drive growth. You'll own the entire growth function at a critical inflection point—building the strategy, team, and playbooks that accelerate revenue and market expansion.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current growth motion across all channels (product-led, sales, marketing, partnerships) and identify quick wins for Q1 revenue acceleration

2

Define and socialize a 12-month growth strategy aligned with company OKRs, with clear attribution models and accountability

3

Build or restructure the growth team—identify gaps, hire key roles (demand gen, product marketing, growth analyst), and establish cross-functional workflows

4

Establish baseline KPIs for CAC, LTV, payback period, expansion revenue, and win rates by segment

By 6 Months
1

Execute 2-3 major growth campaigns (demand generation, ABM, product expansion) with measurable revenue impact and >3x ROI

2

Optimize product-led growth motion: increase free-to-paid conversion by 15%+ and reduce time-to-value

3

Build repeatable sales playbooks for enterprise and mid-market segments; establish predictable pipeline generation

4

Launch or revamp partner program strategy; identify and activate 10+ strategic partnership opportunities for channel expansion

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've scaled growth from $0-$50M+ ARR or managed growth function at a B2B SaaS unicorn—you know how to build repeatable engines
  • You're comfortable being CEO of growth: owning the P&L, setting strategy, hiring, and executing across channels simultaneously
  • You thrive in ambiguity and can balance long-term strategy with short-term revenue needs
  • You live in data—you fluently read dashboards, build attribution models, and make decisions based on metrics, not gut
  • You're product-minded and can influence without authority; you partner well with product and engineering teams
Won't Work If
  • You're a pure demand gen specialist or performance marketer looking for a narrow lane—this role requires strategic breadth
  • You need 6+ months to 'understand the market' before making moves—Amplitude is ready for day-one action
  • You avoid difficult conversations or people decisions; you'll need to make hiring/firing calls quickly and confidently
  • You're not data-literate or skeptical of analytics; this role demands rigor and measurement obsession
