The Challenge
Small but scrappy marketing agency serving regulated industries (cannabis, hemp, CPG, events) needs someone to own LinkedIn strategy and build a scalable lead gen engine. You'll be the first dedicated marketer architecting growth from scratch.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize LinkedIn company page; establish posting cadence (3-5x/week) with CEO account strategy and content calendar
Map and launch initial lead generation funnel through LinkedIn (targeting, messaging, nurture sequence via email)
Publish 8-12 SEO-optimized blog posts targeting regulated industry keywords; establish keyword roadmap
Grow weekly newsletter to 500+ subscribers with 25%+ open rate through organic promotion and lead magnet integration
Generate 50+ qualified leads monthly through LinkedIn funnel with documented conversion rate and cost-per-lead
Achieve 2,000+ LinkedIn followers on CEO account with 3%+ engagement rate on organic content
Publish 20+ SEO articles with measurable organic traffic growth (target: 5,000+ monthly sessions from organic search)
Establish predictable email nurture sequences converting newsletter subscribers to sales conversations (target: 2-3% conversion)

Percentage of LinkedIn profile visitors or message respondents who enter your lead funnel.
Cost Per Qualified Lead (CPL)
Total marketing spend divided by qualified leads generated through LinkedIn and content channels.

Newsletter open rate (target 25%+) and click-through rate; measure content relevance and list quality.
Organic Content Traffic & Rankings
Monthly organic sessions to blog; keyword rankings for target terms in regulated verticals.
LinkedIn Audience Growth & Engagement
Monthly follower growth and engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) on company and CEO accounts.
