The Challenge

DaVita Kidney Care needs a CRM leader to build enterprise-scale lifecycle marketing across patients, physicians, and enterprise audiences. You'll own the Salesforce ecosystem and drive measurable engagement, conversion, and retention in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current Salesforce Marketing Cloud setup, identify gaps in segmentation and automation capability, and document roadmap priorities

2

Establish governance framework for data, consent, and compliance across all CRM programs working with Privacy and Legal teams

3

Build out team structure, define roles across lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, and analytics disciplines

4

Launch one high-impact lifecycle program (patient engagement or physician nurture) using existing Salesforce capabilities to prove value

By 6 Months
1

Execute full Marketing Cloud optimization including enhanced personalization rules, behavioral triggers, and A/B testing protocols

2

Develop and implement audience segmentation strategy leveraging clinical and engagement data across 3+ distinct personas

3

Build integrated reporting dashboard tracking engagement rate, conversion lift, retention metrics, and ROI across all CRM channels

4

Scale team capabilities: hire 2-3 key roles (automation specialist, lifecycle strategist), establish agile sprint cadence, deliver 5+ optimized journey programs

KPIs You'll Own

Email engagement rate by segment

Track open, click, and conversion rates across patient, physician, and enterprise journeys to measure CRM effectiveness.

Lifecycle conversion rate

Monitor conversion outcomes (appointment booking, referral acceptance, retention) attributed to CRM touchpoints.

Audience size and health

Track addressable audience growth, list quality, opt-in rates, and data compliance metrics across all segments.

Marketing automation velocity

Measure program launch speed, number of active journeys, and automation coverage vs. manual campaign spend.

Salesforce platform adoption

Track internal user adoption, data quality scores, and integration health across CRM ecosystem.

  • You've built and scaled CRM or lifecycle marketing programs at Director level managing 8+ person teams
  • You're deep in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and can translate business strategy into platform architecture decisions
  • You thrive in regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, insurance) and understand compliance, consent, and data governance
  • You can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution—you'll own roadmap AND unblock technical blockers

  • You're uncomfortable working in healthcare regulatory constraints or have limited experience in compliant environments
  • You lack direct Salesforce Marketing Cloud hands-on experience or haven't managed multi-disciplinary teams
