About Lens

Lens (lens.cx) is a creative-tech platform connecting makers and audiences. We closed an $80K

friends-and-family pre-seed and a $3M seed round is underway. Runway is approximately six weeks

pre-Audacity. We are in a one-month compression sprint to June 13, 2026 with five ship deliverables: a

soft-launch run, a 1,000-person waitlist, a Washington Square Park physical stand, a creator influencer

cohort, and a public keynote. The next four weeks decide the next four years.

The role

Chief Marketing Officer. You own brand, go-to-market, growth, and the marketing team you will hire after

the seed closes. You report to the founder and CEO. You sit at the leadership table. You are accountable

for the soft-launch arc, the waitlist conversion, the WSP stand activation, the creator program, the keynote

staging, and every public surface where Lens shows up.

What you will own

  • Brand. Voice, identity, positioning, the look. Lens is design-led. The CMO must be too.
  • Go-to-market. The next 12 months of launches, partnerships, and channel bets.
  • Growth. Paid plus organic plus product-led. Own the waitlist-to-active conversion funnel.
  • Hires. Build a 3-5 person marketing team in the six months after the seed closes. Designer, content
  • lead, growth marketer, community lead, ops.
  • The June 13 sprint. WSP stand, posters in the village and Williamsburg, creator influencer cohort,

keynote staging.

Who we are looking for

  • 8+ years in creative-tech, consumer, or designer-facing platforms. Bonus if you have shipped at a

Series A through C creative-software or marketplace company.

  • Founder-energy. You build, you do not delegate everything. The first 60 days are hands-on.
  • NYC-based or willing to relocate. The team and the stand are in New York.
  • Comfortable owning brand AND owning numbers. Many marketers do one or the other. Lens needs

both.

  • Network in NYC creative-tech, design, and creator economy. You should already know the

publications, the casting agencies, and the venues we will pitch.

Compensation

Equity-heavy, cash-modest for the next two years. Cash range: $150,000 to $225,000. Equity: 1.0% to

3.0% common, four-year vest, one-year cliff, depending on stage of join and prior fit. This is a synthesis

estimate of NYC seed-stage CMO market as of 2026-05; we will validate against your last offer and your

trajectory. Health, dental, 401k available post-seed close.
