The Challenge
Lean Tech is scaling its e-commerce performance marketing across US marketplaces. You'll own campaign optimization for large product catalogs, driving ROAS and revenue growth in a high-velocity, entrepreneurial environment where agility and data wins.
Your Mission
Master the current Amazon and Walmart ad account structure; identify 3-5 quick wins in bid strategy and keyword targeting to lift ROAS by 10-15%
Build a daily monitoring dashboard tracking ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, and spend allocation across all active campaigns
Document and standardize SKU-level optimization processes for the team; train 1-2 junior marketers on frameworks
Deliver first monthly performance report with competitive analysis and tactical recommendations for the Growth and Merchant teams
Grow customer acquisition volume by 20% YoY through incremental paid media testing and audience refinement
Lead transition to automated bid management for 60%+ of campaigns; measure and report lift vs. manual optimization
Mentor and hire 1 junior performance marketer; create playbooks for onboarding and ongoing SKU optimization
Present quarterly strategy review to leadership with marketplace trends, competitive benchmarks, and 6-month roadmap
KPIs You'll Own
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
