The Challenge
PayFit is a €20k+ customer SaaS platform simplifying payroll for European SMEs. You'll own organic growth across France, Spain, and the UK—building the SEO strategy that drives acquisition at scale.
Your Mission
Complete SEO audits for PayFit's primary markets and identify top 50 keyword opportunities with search volume and intent data
Execute 10+ page optimizations (meta tags, internal linking, schema markup) and measure baseline ranking improvements
Set up automated SEO reporting dashboards in GSC, GA4, and SEMrush to track weekly performance gains
Deliver 3 content briefs aligned to target keywords and work with content team to publish optimized pages
Drive organic traffic growth by 25%+ through cumulative on-page optimizations and new content deployment across all three markets
Build and execute a netlinking campaign generating 15+ domain authority backlinks from relevant payroll/HR publications
Conduct full technical SEO crawl audit, resolve indexation issues, and improve Core Web Vitals scores to meet Google thresholds
Create monthly SEO performance reports with trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and data-driven optimization roadmap for next quarter

Organic Traffic Growth
Month-over-month increase in sessions from organic search across all three PayFit markets.
Keyword Rankings (Top 3/10/50)
Number of target keywords ranking in top 3, top 10, and top 50 positions in Google Search results.
Organic Conversion Rate
Percentage of organic visitors completing key actions (demo request, signup, trial) on PayFit's website.
Core Web Vitals Score
Google's PageSpeed Insights score tracking LCP, FID, and CLS across site pages to maintain SEO ranking health.

Is This Role For You?
- You're a student or recent grad who wants to understand how SEO directly drives SaaS acquisition and revenue
- You're comfortable with technical SEO tools (GSC, Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs) and eager to level up your proficiency
- You're detail-oriented and can execute optimization work independently while collaborating with a wider team
- You speak French fluently and ideally have basic knowledge of Spanish or English (multi-market work required)
- You're looking for a permanent role—this is a 6-month internship with no guarantee of extension
- You need full remote flexibility—this is on-site only in Paris
- You have no interest in technical SEO or analytics—the role is heavily hands-on with tools, not just content

Technical Assessment

Meeting with SEO Manager and potentially Growth leadership to discuss fit, collaboration style, and expectations
