The Challenge

Balzac Paris is scaling across 4+ markets (France, UK, US, Belgium) and opening new territories. You'll be the creative force behind their international paid media and CRM strategy, where every visual and message needs to land culturally while driving conversions.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Master the brand aesthetic and competitive landscape across all 4 current markets; produce 3-5 high-performing ad creative variations per market for Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest

Localize 2 full CRM campaign sequences (newsletter + email flows) with cultural adaptation for UK and US markets while maintaining brand voice

Build a reusable creative template library documenting top-performing concepts, formats, and messaging hooks by market

4

Audit and flag 10+ e-commerce localization gaps (product descriptions, sizing guides, imagery) on international sites

By 6 Months
1

Own end-to-end content localization for 1 new market entry; deliver market research, creative strategy, and launch 2 paid campaigns

Achieve 15%+ improvement in creative performance through iterative testing; document learnings in a living best-practices playbook

Scale CRM adaptation framework; localize 6+ email campaigns across all markets with measurable engagement lift vs. baseline

4

Lead monthly competitive intelligence reports identifying emerging creative trends and cultural opportunities across your markets

ROAS and CTR on Meta/Google/TikTok paid by country; track which visual concepts outperform by geography.

Email Engagement by Market

Open rate, click rate, and conversion rate on localized CRM campaigns; measure lift from cultural adaptation.

Creative Output Velocity

Number of localized ad variants produced per week; quality consistency across markets.

Competitive Win Rate

How often your concepts outperform competitor creative in A/B testing; market share of attention.

  • You're studying Bac+4/5 in commerce, design, or marketing and want real-world growth experience—not busy work.
  • You're fluent in Adobe (at least Photoshop/Figma) and can think visually *and* strategically about paid media.
  • You thrive in ambiguity; love researching cultural nuance and adapting messaging for different markets.
  • You're obsessed with performance metrics and creative testing; you want to see what works and double down.

  • You're looking for a design-only role; this requires strategic thinking, CRM adaptation, and e-commerce involvement.
  • You need flexible remote work; this is on-site in Paris, full-stop.
  • You're uncomfortable with fast iteration and frequent pivots based on performance data.

Creative brief challenge

You'll localize 1-2 ad concepts (visual + copy) for a fictional product across 2 markets; show your thinking.

Manager conversation

Deep dive with CRM & Paid Media Manager on your experience, how you approach market research, and where you see growth opportunities.

Team fit

Meet Brand team; discuss collaboration style, autonomy expectations, and how you'd handle competing priorities.
