The Challenge

AAPD is a national disability-led organization building political and economic power. You'll own their data infrastructure and CRM strategy, turning constituent data into actionable insights that drive advocacy campaigns and member engagement at scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current EveryAction setup, document data quality issues, and establish baseline governance SOPs

2

Map all system integrations (Mailchimp, Quorum, WordPress, Zapier) and identify data sync gaps or redundancies

3

Build 3-5 foundational dashboards for Communications and Advocacy teams showing key engagement metrics

4

Define and document data management workflows with clear owner accountability across departments

By 6 Months
1

Execute full data migration/cleanup project, ensuring constituent records are deduplicated and segmented correctly

Establish KPI framework and reporting cadence aligned to organizational advocacy and fundraising goals

3

Automate 4+ recurring reports using EveryAction and connected tools, reducing manual data pulls

4

Train Communications and Advocacy teams on self-service dashboard access and basic data segmentation

KPIs You'll Own

Data Quality Score

Percentage of constituent records meeting completeness and accuracy standards across key fields.

CRM System Uptime & Sync Health

Monthly integration success rate across EveryAction, Mailchimp, Quorum, WordPress, and Zapier.

Reporting Automation Rate

Percentage of recurring reports automated vs. manually pulled month-over-month.

Stakeholder Adoption

Number of staff actively using dashboards and self-service data tools vs. requesting custom reports.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed CRM systems (EveryAction, Salesforce NPSP, Raiser's Edge, HubSpot) for 4+ years, ideally in nonprofit or mission-driven orgs
  • You love data governance: you get excited about clean databases, segmentation strategy, and turning messy data into insights
  • You're comfortable with integrations and APIs (Zapier, webhooks) and can troubleshoot data sync issues without panicking
  • You communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders and enjoy building dashboards that drive real decisions
Won't Work If
  • You need hands-on growth marketing work—this is pure data ops and CRM stewardship, not campaign execution
  • You haven't actually used EveryAction, Salesforce NPSP, or similar CRM platforms in production; you'll be thrown in deep
  • You prefer building new systems over maintaining and optimizing existing ones; AAPD needs a custodian, not a builder
