The Challenge

Takeda's BioLife is scaling donor engagement through marketing technology. You'll own the complete martech strategy and roadmap for a consumer-facing plasma donation platform, leading cross-geo teams and a $10-20M investment portfolio to drive measurable growth.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map current martech ecosystem, audit capability gaps, and prioritize quick wins to improve donor engagement metrics

Establish portfolio governance framework with intake, prioritization, and dependency management processes

3

Align with Commercial Plasma Portfolio and BioLife Marketing on 12-month roadmap priorities and KPI definitions

4

Conduct stakeholder interviews and build shared understanding of digital marketing technology vision

By 6 Months
1

Launch first phase of donor experience optimization platform (messaging, personalization, channel activation)

Implement test-and-learn cadence with 3+ live experiments tracking conversion lift and donor retention

3

Deliver martech stack consolidation plan (marketing automation, CDP/identity, tagging/measurement)

4

Build and operationalize cross-geo team with defined quarterly planning and release governance cadence

KPIs You'll Own

Donor Acquisition Cost (DAC) Reduction

Track efficiency gains from martech improvements, targeting 10-15% reduction within 6 months.

Martech Roadmap Delivery Rate

Percentage of committed capabilities delivered on-time and on-budget against quarterly roadmap.

Donor Engagement Score

Composite KPI across channel engagement, message open/click rates, and donation completion rates.

Technology Portfolio ROI

Measure business value realized (revenue lift, cost savings) against $10-20M annual investment.

Experimentation Velocity

Number of validated A/B tests launched monthly, with adoption rate of winning variants.

  • You've built martech stacks at scale and understand marketing automation, CDP, identity, and activation platforms
  • You thrive leading cross-geo teams across distributed locations (US + offshore product development)
  • You're comfortable translating business outcomes into clear technology roadmaps and governance
  • You have hands-on experience with test-and-learn frameworks, experimentation, and analytics in consumer tech or B2C
Won't Work If
  • You want fully remote work—this is on-site in Illinois only
  • You're unfamiliar with healthcare compliance, privacy, consent, and regulatory constraints in martech
  • You prefer individual contributor work over building and leading teams across geographies
