The Challenge

J.P. Morgan's Consumer Commercial Banking needs a Product Director who can orchestrate growth across 70M+ digital customers and 6 lines of business. You'll own the growth OKR for digital channels (Chase.com, mobile app) and lead the product teams building discovery and shopping experiences that drive new account acquisition at scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map current product performance across all 6 lines of business (Card, Consumer Bank, Auto, Home, Wealth, Business Banking) and identify top 3 growth levers for digital channels

Establish growth OKR framework with clear accountability for new account targets across Chase.com and Chase Mobile App

3

Conduct competitive analysis of fintech and traditional banking digital experiences to identify differentiation opportunities

4

Onboard and align cross-functional team (PMs, tech, design, analytics, research) on Q1 product roadmap priorities

By 6 Months
1

Launch 2-3 high-impact product features or experiences tied to personalization/agentic AI trends that move net new account acquisition KPIs

Establish product health dashboard tracking discovery, conversion, and channel performance metrics across all 6 LOBs

Mentor and develop PM team on advanced product discovery methods and develop standardized product adoption playbook

4

Deliver business case and roadmap for next-gen digital experience addressing identified customer gaps vs. competitors

New Account Acquisition Rate

Track net new accounts opened via Chase.com and mobile app across all 6 lines of business, broken by channel and product.

Discovery & Shopping Experience Conversion

Measure customer progression through digital discovery flows to product selection and account opening completion rates.

Product Feature Adoption & Engagement

Monitor velocity of new features launched, time-to-adoption, and sustained engagement in target customer segments.

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)

Track efficiency of product-driven growth versus paid marketing channels to optimize growth ROI.

Customer Satisfaction & NPS by Channel

Measure digital channel satisfaction and Net Promoter Score to validate product-market fit and identify friction points.

  • You have executive presence and proven ability to influence business leaders and navigate org politics
  • You understand modern product trends (personalization, AI/agentic experiences) and can translate them into growth levers

  • You're a pure product strategist without commercial/growth mindset—this is growth-first, not feature-first
  • You haven't managed P&L or been held accountable for business outcomes (revenue, acquisition, margins)
  • You're uncomfortable in large enterprise environments or slow decision-making cycles
